Peter Harding

Peter has held a variety of Finance Director positions in the UK, Europe and the Far East with companies ranging in size from SMEs with annual sales of £1m upto a £0.5Bn division of RWE/Thames Water. He has considerable experience in raising finance, company valuations and Mergers and Acquisitions.

Along with the rest of the Alpha-Financials team, his recent focus on SMEs involved turning around loss-making companies into profitability and saving many tens of thousands of pounds in “hidden cash” buried in them. Other significant deliverables also include savings in annual accounting costs of more than 30%, improvements in financial controls and better, more focussed financial reporting to aid decision making. We have regularly used our financial expertise in structuring the latest cloud-based accounting systems in order to support these activities.

For four years, Peter has represented small businesses on the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants national panel.
